Thermoplastic [PVC, CPVC, Glass-Filled Polypropylene, or PVDF (Kynar)] solenoid valve, [1/4" through 1"] NPT threads, is to be of the direct acting, shielded core, normally closed design. No minimum pressure or pressure differential is required for operation, suitable for full vacuum or pressure applications. The solenoid valve is to have multiple U-cups mounted around PTFE shaft for low friction dynamic sealing, non-sticking operation with million cycle design. U-cups shall be [enter Buna-N, EPDM or Viton]. Poppet seat, and a back-up seal secondary elastomer diaphragm shall also be of the same material. The valve is to have Fail-Dry Safety Design, which incorporates a vented chamber between the U-cups and the secondary elastomer backup seal. The vented chamber has a 1/8" NPT port so that thermoplastic tubing, if desired, can be piped to a remote safe location in the event of concern with leakage of dangerous liquids or vapors.
